Wandurance is a travel-budget calculator. This policy covers the Wandurance website and the Wandurance Android and iOS apps alike — they're the same calculator, and they handle information the same way.
Wandurance doesn't have accounts, a backend, or a database. There's no server anywhere that your budget, destination choices, or trip plans get sent to — every calculation happens locally, on your device. We don't collect, store, sell, or share any personal information, because there's nothing set up to collect it with in the first place.
Any inputs you enter — budget, country, tier, trip-planner stops, and so on — are used only to compute results on screen. If you use the "remember my inputs" / shareable-link behavior, those values are saved in your device's local browser storage and/or encoded into a URL you choose to copy and share; they are never transmitted to us, because we have nowhere for them to go.
The web version loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers on page load — ordinary technical details such as your IP address are visible to Google as part of that request, the same as on any site using Google Fonts. The Android and iOS apps bundle their own fonts and interface locally, so they don't make this request. Neither the site nor the apps otherwise contact any server, run any analytics or advertising SDKs, or use any tracking pixels or cookies of our own.
The Wandurance app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or any other device permission, and does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK. Any data-collection disclosures required by Google Play or the Apple App Store for this app should read "no data collected" for exactly that reason.
Wandurance is a general-audience budgeting tool and isn't directed at children. Since it collects no personal information from anyone, it doesn't knowingly collect information from children either.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does contact a server — this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above.
